The Lincoln® Vantage® 549X (Deutz®) Ready-Pak® 2 is a fully assembled 575 amp, multi-process diesel engine welder and highway-ready trailer package. The Vantage 549X is equipped with a Deutz® 49.4 HP turbo-charged TD2.9L4 diesel engine. The standard stainless steel side panels and roof extend the life and durability of the welder. Five different welding modes allow you to quickly switch between stick, touch start DC TIG, MIG, flux-cored and carbon arc gouging (with up to 3/8″ diameter carbons).

Advanced technology built into the Vantage 549X includes state-of-the-art CrossLinc®.  Built-in CrossLinc circuitry means that the Vantage 549X communicates with a Lincoln CrossLinc wire feeder or CrossLinc remote control directly through your welding leads. Full remote amperage and voltage control is achieved without the use of a separate remote-control cable. This completely eliminates the need to go back to the welding machine to make output amperage or voltage adjustments. Other advanced features include pulsed MIG welding (when paired with the proper OPTIONAL Lincoln X-Series wire feeder).

The Vantage 549X generates 11,000 continuous watts of 120/240 volt single-phase AC auxiliary power AND 19,000 continuous watts of 240 volt three-phase AC auxiliary power. The Deutz® TD2.9L4 four-cylinder turbo-charged diesel engine is EPA Tier 4F compliant and produces 49.4 horsepower at 1,800 RPM.

  Offers up to 575 amps (IEC rated at 525 amps) of welding current to tackle numerous welding and carbon arc gouging applications. Select one of five basic process modes including CC-Stick, Downhill Pipe, DC Touch Start TIG®, CV-Wire, or Arc Gouging mode, which maximizes output for up to 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) carbon rods.
