Lincoln® POWER MIG® 360MP Aluminum Front Trigger One-Pak® for Trailer Manufacturing/General Fabrication K4784-1
The Lincoln® K4784-1 POWER MIG® 360MP Aluminum Front Trigger One-Pak® is a complete push-pull aluminum MIG welding system designed specifically for trailer manufacturing and general fabrication. The package comes complete with a Magnum® PRO AL FC 225 air-cooled push-pull gun with 25 ft. leads. The AL FC features a fixed conduit to ensure a smooth, premium aluminum MIG welding experience. The push-pull gun attaches directly to the POWER MIG 360MP and comes with 3/64 drive rolls and a 16 lb. spool of 3/64 SuperGlaze® ER5356 aluminum MIG welding wire.
The POWER MIG 360MP is a 300 amp multi-process welder that is capable of MIG, pulsed-MIG, DC TIG, pulsed-DC TIG and Stick welding. It operates on 208-575 volt, single-phase input power. Advanced welding features include ArcFX™ technology. ArcFX™graphically displays how changes in voltage and wire feed speed affect your weld. Sample weld cross sections are displayed in the bright, 7 inch LED screen depicting how your bead profile will look based on your actual welding parameters. Using this feature allows you to quickly reference the type of welding outcomes you want and fine tune your adjustments accordingly. Ready.Set.Weld™ feature removes the guesswork in setting the right welding parameters for your job. Large color display guides you through your specific welding application to ensure a great weld every time.
Built-in pulsed MIG and pulsed DC TIG circuitry allows for superior control of the welding arc, while reducing burn-through and warping. Pulsed MIG Mode varies weld current between peak (high heat) and background (low heat) current to provide better control of heat input. Pulsed MIG also enables flat, horizontal, vertical up, or overhead welding without a slag system. Optimized GMAW-P wave forms are readily available to use on aluminum, carbon steel, high strength low alloy steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys. Use pulse DC TIG welding with OPTIONAL TIG torch to help minimize burn through on thin materials. Lower heat input may lessen warping of parts, especially stainless steel materials. The TIG Pulse feature has a single knob control which sets the pulse frequency over the range of 0.5-19.5 Hz, or 17.6-303 Hz. The pulse setting automatically regulates the output current between the peak amperage set by the amptrol (if used) and the background amperage, which is equal to 60% of the peak. The peak pulse % on-time is fixed at 50%.
