The Hypertherm® Powermax85 SYNC® with CPC Port, Voltage Divider and Serial Port (No Torch) is an 85 amp plasma cutter that is capable of cutting mild steel up to 1 inch thick. It can be paired with a variety of SmartSYNC™ handheld or machine plasma torches (sold separately) to suit your metal cutting or gouging application.

The Powermax85 SYNC comes standard with Auto-Voltage™ detection and operates on single or 3-phase, 200V to 600V, 50/60 Hz input power. There is no need for manual voltage linking. This system comes with Hypertherm’s 3-year factory warranty. The CPC Port and voltage divider allow this model to communicate with your remote control or CNC mechanized cutting equipment. The Serial Port allows you to connect to fully automated CNC/Robotic equipment to provide remote amperage and plasma gas pressure control.
