The Hypertherm® Powermax65 SYNC®, with 75 and 15 degree SmartSYNC™ handheld torches, is a complete 65 amp plasma cutting and gouging package. The 25 foot, 75 degree plasma torch is ideal for cutting mild steel up to 3/4 inch thick. The 25 foot, 15 degree plasma torch is specifically designed to make plasma gouging operations more comfortable and efficient. Both SmartSYNC™ plasma torches use Hypertherm’s proprietary one-piece consumable cartridge, for up to 5X longer consumable life and more consistent cuts. A single, color-coded cartridge contains all the necessary consumables for plasma cutting or gouging, in one convenient assembly.  The smart cartridge eliminates the need to individually replace the plasma cup, tip, electrode and swirl ring – saving time and reducing parts inventory.  RFID chips in both the consumable cartridge and SmartSYNC torch take the guesswork out of your machine set up by automatically setting the Powermax65 SYNC to the correct cut/gouge settings – no manual adjustments are necessary. The RFIDs also communicate the cartridge’s end-of-life status back to the plasma cutter to ensure maximum performance and superior metal cuts.

The Powermax65 SYNC comes standard with Auto-Voltage™ detection and operates on single or 3-phase, 200V to 600V, 50/60 Hz input power. There is no need for manual voltage linking. The Powermax65 SYNC comes complete with both a 25 ft. SmartSYNC 75 degree handheld plasma torch and a 25 ft. 15 degree handeld gouging torch. It also comes with Hypertherm’s 3-year factory warranty.
