The Hypertherm® Powermax65 SYNC®, with CPC Port, Voltage Divider and 75 degree SmartSYNC™ handheld torch, is a 65 amp plasma cutter that is ideal for cutting mild steel up to 3/4 inch thick. The SmartSYNC™ plasma torch uses Hypertherm’s proprietary one-piece consumable cartridge, for up to 5X longer consumable life and more consistent cuts. A single, color-coded cartridge contains all the necessary consumables for plasma cutting or gouging, in one convenient assembly.  The smart cartridge eliminates the need to individually replace the plasma nozzle, tip, electrode and swirl ring – saving time and reducing parts inventory.  RFID chips in both the consumable cartridge and SmartSYNC torch take the guesswork out of your machine set up by automatically setting the Powermax65 SYNC to the correct cut/gouge settings – no manual adjustments are necessary. The RFIDs also communicate the cartridge’s end-of-life status back to the plasma cutter to ensure maximum performance and superior metal cuts.

The Powermax65 SYNC comes standard with Auto-Voltage™ detection and operates on single or 3-phase, 200V to 600V, 50/60 Hz input power. There is no need for manual voltage linking. It is available with 25 ft. or 50 ft. plasma torch length and comes with Hypertherm’s 3-year factory warranty. The CPC Port and voltage divider allow this model to be quickly adapted to perform CNC mechanized cutting.
